Limited Warranty
PEAK Gauge comes with a 1-year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. It starts on the day your order is delivered and covers the original buyer of a PEAK Gauge bought from peak-gauge.com.
What we'll do
- Try to fix it first. Many problems can be solved with a setting or a firmware update, so we'll start there.
- Repair or replace it. If it's a hardware defect, we'll repair your gauge or replace it with a new or refurbished one that works the same.
- Refund it. If we can't repair or replace it, we'll refund what you paid for the gauge.
Shipping
- First 30 days after delivery: we cover shipping both ways.
- After 30 days: you pay to ship the gauge to us, and we cover shipping the repaired or replacement gauge back to you.
Battery version
A battery that fails or swells under normal use is covered. Lithium batteries slowly hold less charge as they age, and that normal loss of battery life isn't a defect.
The Battery version must be shipped by ground service only. If the battery is swollen, leaking or damaged, don't ship it. Contact us first and we'll tell you what to do.
Not covered
- Heat damage, including from leaving the gauge in a hot parked car or using or storing it outside 32–140 °F (0–60 °C). See Battery safety.
- Physical damage, such as drops, a cracked screen or crushing
- Water or other liquid damage
- Opening the case, modifying the gauge, or installing firmware not released by Peak Gauge
- Normal wear, scratches and cosmetic damage
- The vent mount and screen protector after the first 30 days
How to make a claim
Email support@peak-gauge.com with your order number, what's wrong, and a photo or short video if you can. Please don't send anything back until we've replied with instructions.
Your legal rights
To the extent the law allows, any implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited to the 1-year length of this warranty, and our responsibility is limited to repairing, replacing or refunding the gauge. We aren't responsible for incidental or consequential damages. Some states don't allow limits on how long an implied warranty lasts, or the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, so these limits may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.
